Arabic.

Our goal is to support every student to read Arabic in order to promote their relationship with the Quran. We use the Noorani method to teach Arabic recitation. In addition, we equip students with basic Quranic Arabic vocabulary, help them to memorize many shorter suras, and instill in them a love for the Quran as a book of guidance.

Deen.

In our Deen curriculum, we choose one theme and teach the concept across the whole school in a way that is engaging and age-appropriate. The theme for the Spring 2021 semester is: Know Our Self.

...and in between.

No Homework

Children have enough homework during the week. We don’t give homework to children - we give it to the parents! Parents will reinforce the principles and practices learned in the classroom by participating in prayers, charity, and community service with their child.

Circle Time

Led By Sr. Suzan Heshmati

Circle Time at ISP is geared toward children ages 3 to 4 year old. The goal of this class is to allow children to connect with each other and to enjoy a virtual circle/story time. Circle Time will include songs, stories, and movement activities that incorporate Islam into every aspect of learning.

Class time: 10:20am - 12:00pm (right after the all-school assembly) on Sundays when school is in session
